Do you ever wonder why
Time guides us day to day,
From the moment that we wake
To the night until we lay,

Some get up and go to church
Then we're off to play a round,
Some will have to go to work
By a contract they are bound,

We wear a watch or have our phones
In keeping up with time,
Some are early some are late
Some will make it on a dime,

From the minute we are born
it is noted time and weight,
Which starts our life clock ticking
Until no uncertain date,
