Poem -

Tick Tock.

She a woman of age.
For a long time she’s been performing on life’s stage.
She’s been there done it and wore the T-shirt.
Felt happiness love hate and hurt.
She has served her time with love and dignity.
Now she’s feeling hound dog day banality.
She must move on to meet her maker.
Praying that the almighty will take her.
But to the heavens she will surely go.
Around her there’s always been a heavenly glow.
Age does take us all someday.
On this spinning ball forever we all can’t stay.
She a woman of age.
She’s ready to write her life’s final page.
