'til All My Blood Is Gone

Redemption in the Moonlight

'til All My Blood Is Gone

I met her in line for the Ferris wheel at the county fair
She was dressed like a supermodel and her beauty was beyond compare
I stuttered
Attempted to channel 007 in charm

Only to fall flat as I tried to disarm...
this 'Cinderella meets Maleficent'

We rode together on the wheel and my heart was lost
If there was a 'lost and found' for hearts, it would be encased in reinforced steel
Only she could open it
And keep It as a trophy

We walked into the black of the moonlit night

I could almost hear the falling stars
Intermingled with the moonlight
My senses heightened as she kissed me, forcing me to the ground
The blood rushed in my veins like a flash flood
She stole my heart and took my blood

She left me for dead after having her fill

I knew she knew I was easy to kill
I laid on the ground and cried to the universe,
"How could true love make me feel worse?"
I search for her still to this day
If I find her, I will simply say

"Let's go on the Ferris wheel."
Code talk for 'Let's fall in love'

Without her I cannot go on
I will love her with all of my heart
'til all my blood is gone
