Timber

Timber

Centuries of hereditary flaws passed down to the following generations, with little to no regret from the elderly.

Self-reflection, unknown words like a foreign language, morals and values nonexistent amidst this family tree.

An extreme motivation for thick gossip, as everyone related talks about one another, never comprehending the lack of love.

Mental damage are the leaves of this family tree, bound to the trunk with burdens for branches, the roots deeply flawed.

To think I came from this habitat, scares me more than the homegrown baggage I was made from, it’s eye opening.

No longer could I bare to stare at something so ugly!
