Time

It’s been said, “TIME heals all wounds.” But I do not agree because my wounds remain. 
Thanks to u I sustain this pain,
That lessens but it’s never gone,
Because u are not short, ur long. 
The more u go by the more things go wrong.
Ppl say u fly by,
That’s sometimes true & sometimes a lie. 
I invested 7 years of me to u, TIME!
But what did it matter because u are not here, u are not mine. 
I wanted more of u, because the TIME u gave wasn’t enough,
& now I’m all alone because TIME, ur rough. 
U left me when I needed u most. 
Some think ur an illusion but I think ur more like a ghost. 
Ppl always talk about how important u are & how not to waste u. 
But they never talk about all the bad things u do. 
U turn all beautiful things into ash. 
Ur harsh, unpredictable, unstoppable & make bad things happen in a flash. 
U turned my everything into nothing,
& as long as I’m alive I know you’ll keep on coming. 
How I wish I could turn u back. 
But all I’m able to do to u is track, 
Because ur something I can not hack. 
If u were a color, u wouldn’t be a bright beautiful color, u would be dark, u would be black. 
I’ve grown to hate u because u disappeared 
& u made everything fade away. 
Listen here,
U make us all old and gray. 
But what can I say....
Besides that I want this prison sentence to end,
Because I no longer have her & u to spend.
