Time

Time

Autumn’s here and yet again another year almost past,
Days and weeks turn into months the time goes by too fast
The year 2000 was on its way, that was fifteen years ago
I do not feel older or wiser and where time goes, I do not know
I wish that time could just stand still to let us catch our breath
You’re born, your life flies past you and then you’re facing death
Not a rehearsal, no second chance to come back, you’re dealt your hand of fate
Live life to the full, make the most of your time before it is too late
