A Time Ago

A time ago, was long ago.
Things were simpler then,
much less complexed then now.

A time ago,
there still were problem with the economy,
I've fixed the hominy.

A time ago,
I think I let you go,
just to see if you were the one to hold.

A time ago,
learning was easier to sow,
just so someone can say hello.

"Oh dear,
never fear,
you are still quite the man to hold."

"Yes,
a time ago,
we weren't so old."
