Poem -

The Time Has Come.

The time has come for me to go

From this Neverland I’ve lived in

For the past fifteen years

Where the lost boys dwell

And the dreaded captain

Stalks an invisible prey

                                                          Creeping…

Creeping…

                     Creeping…

Where the rhythmic beat of tribal drums

Are heard from everywhere

                                                           Thump!

                                                                     Thump!

              Thump!

And the sound of a little bell

From a little fairy follows me

                                                        Ring,

                                                               Ring,

                                                                     Ring,

Where the air is a constant cool breeze

Filling every inhabitant with joy

Where there is no such thing as worries

The time has now come for me

To leave the nursery.

This poem speaks to development. We must all eventually leave the nursery. And you style of expression is so fluid and poetic. I enjoy reading your poems.
