Time....And Again
Ā Can time be bent? Or only spentā¦
Itās lost before begun.
To travel through it ā¦..never to it
really isnāt fun.
It flies and heals, robs and steals,
Itās currency you spendā¦
No way to know when it begins
or when it will Ā all end.
Time is a gift, the clock winds down,
our lives will all run slow.
Years flyā¦.friends die, we ask again
āwhere did that time just go?ā
Our lives are intertwined with time
that hidden silken thread,
that weaves a pattern just for us
ignoring all weāve said.
Time is framed..ā¦time is gained,
Time is shared ..ā¦and lost.
Time defeats us.
passing, beats us,
Is it friend or foe?
Itās eternal, waits for no man
Time for us to know.
We have no way to cheat on time,
we serve it with deep sorrows
Time is that thief of memory, Ā
that steals all your tomorrowsā¦

Time is a funny thing, Lodigiana...
When we're young it is our greatest ally.
As we grow old it becomes our mortal enemy.
There are a lot of things we can do with time.
We can make time, save time, and waste our time, if we choose.
We can be on time, use our time wisely, and bide our time.
There's one very important thing we cannot do with time, however.
We cannot store up our time, save it in a vault for use at a later time.
Once our time is up, that's all the time we're gonna get.
