To be a man

What is it to be a man?
To work hard, fall in love, plan?
Strength, providing, physicality,
Is this really masculinity?

Compassion, love, the simple things?
Often forgotten, sadness this brings.
The ability to shamelessly cry,
Or shake those hips until your thighs fry

So fuck the system, is what I say!
I'll hug any man, you don't have to be gay.
Compassion towards myself and others,
Is far more masculine, my brothers!
