Poem -

I love me

Fat or thin, weak or strong,
These thoughts we have are so wrong!
What right does one have to judge another?
Or worse again to want something other

The ideal found on instagram,
Make it ohh so difficult to remain calm
Arms, hips, shoulders, thighs
Self-hate and inner turmoil, is it really a surprise?

Take a step back and self-reflect
Your body is beautiful, not to reject
For those with the thigh gap and perfect hair,
Aren't looking at you and probably don't care.

So forget about all the excess noise
Show some compassion, self-love and poise.
For you are enough and always will be,
Provided the I loves the me.
