To my daddy in heaven
I'm just a little heartbeat, I might not understand, but I know you loved me daddy, when I felt your hand,
You held my mammys belly, you always kept me warm, and I know that when u went my mammys heart was torn, I'm your little baby girl that you never got to see, but I promise you daddy I'll make you proud of me.

This brought a tear to my eye and an ache to my heart, but it also put a smile on my face because it's beautiful. So simple but so full of emotion. A dad would be proud of any daughter who wrote this. He is most definitely smiling and proud to be such a talented and kindhearted girl's father. Thank you so much for your kind words, I actually wrote this for my unborn baby sister when my father passed away while his wife was 5 months pregnant, it is the first time I have ever shared my poetry and your comment has truly driven me to continue publishing my work.
