~ To Taste Of Life, Completely ~
How marvelously delicious it would be
To taste of life, completely
To sweep into a patch of grass
Moves me warm, and ever-lasts
Comes a time, souls swim green
And takes of time, soft and sultry
As cotton wind on feathered feelings
Soaking up, buttercups, and just thinking
An inkling, of what may brightly bloom
Ginger berries, manifesting mushrooms
Frolicking faeries, growing golden wings
Their softness, subtle, through quiet sings
Comes a time, when the world so still
Echoes nothing, but dreams fulfilled
As a perfect plethora, of dancing lights
Birthing beauty, at creative heights
From such is poetry, and artistry born
Where all the world, with color adorned
Oh, how delicious, it would be
To taste of life, completely...

this is a scrumptious read indeed. There is flavour to your writing, which is so apt as this poem is about tasting life :)Â
I cannot pick a favourite line, because it is all so tantalisingly delicious to read. You have spilled a delicate blend of poetic substance, which trickles into the imagination of the reader, and plays on their senses. Very clever my friend. I must admit, I did particularly enjoy the buttercups. I use to love fields of buttercups, and would lay in them as a child. Thank you for such an immersive amalgamation of life’s natural wonders. I feel invigorated and pamperedÂ
