Why don’t we take a walk in the silver moonlight?
Tonight while tomorrow’s dawn is still out of sight
 
Why don’t we go driving in your car?
And journey the roads both near and far
 
Let’s listen to our favorite love songs
It gives me the sense that I belong
 
Did I ever tell you that you are my best friend?
And that it’s my unwavering love that I send
 
You have a special place in my heart and in my soul
Loving and caring for you my friend are my ultimate goals
 
How about we share another glass of wine
Pray that tomorrow everything will be just fine

And no longer will we have to sit and wonder why
 
Gaze up at the stars and constellations in the night sky
Never allow another fleeting moment to just pass us by
 
We will travel the whole world both near and far

Why don’t we stop to toss a coin in the old wishing well?

Take a small boat out to the open sea
And blow kisses unto the morning breeze
 
Who’s to say just how many tears we’ve cried?
