Poem -

To You

The subtle pause brings up questions. Who am I to you? A friend, maybe more. I love you but it's not a romantic type of love. You're family and my bestfriend. I couldn't ask for more but I do. Because there's so much more to you. I asked a serious question and you laughed. The laugh to me was a pause. A crack in our relationship. To you, it was just a laugh. A first response to a question that I already knew the answer to. Who am I to you? A smile, was your answer.
