Poem -

Today, Tomorrow, and Forever

Today, Tomorrow, and Forever

The world spins silently around,

Timelessly revolving without a sound,

Endlessly,

Like the glitter sparkling softly in those eyes,

Glitter that illuminates every star in the universes midnight sky,

Eyes so bright,

They shine more brilliantly than the moonlight reflection off the high tide,

Making bodies twitch ever so slightly,

Anticipating comfort for these awe struck minds,

Oceans mist,

Is what consists of all those words that leave me breathless,

This heart screams

For the love yours beats,

Fingers shifting into sand,

As two forms melt into one,

Could we freeze this moment in time,

Frosted with ignorance of what may be left behind,

Never puddling into what the future might behold,

If worlds stop spinning to their own song,

The midnight stars stop sparkling where they are,

Even if everything known turns to stone,

Hopefully this poem tells how much these last moments made me feel at home.
