I've got a patent on the word too

That word has held my hand since I came to in the world
Too late
Too busy
Too bad
That word has been the ringtone of ever disappointment 
And even though I'm only one
I am still
Too much

I'm a lower being living a life to a degree deemed less than desirable 
My very wants my very dreams
Are all too much
Know me and trying to understand
Why bother those things seem to be just too much

When you're dirty you're unclean
And when you're me you're less than desirable 
It's not a lack of confidence or a misplaced self worth 
It's the tune I've been turning from my entire life
I am too much
And I am all too human to ignore how a three lettered word can hurt me so much
