Poem -

Too Good To Be True

October.10.1998
ย Trisha Barrek Hopkins

Too good to be true
It's hard to believe that I found
Something only God knew
Without a sound

We were connectedย
when we looked into eachothers eyes
Something so powerfull
My heart got affected
Something that could make my fears die
Something so wonderfull

What we have is too good to be true
But I have no problem
If I get hurt my tears will sue
I have been pricked by your love stem

My mind tells me stay away
My tears say don't chance fate
My heart wants to stay
I promise not to hate

The perfectioness is to good
The hunger of your heart is too great
Your love is my food
I want you to be my soulmate

It's too good to beย
But I'll stay by you no matter what
I won't set you free

No matter what happens I'll be by your side
I won't listen to anything false
My feelings and thoughts I try not to hideย
If I couldn't have you I'd be lost
I promise not to hurt your pride
To keep you I'd do anything at any cost

You're too good to be true
We belong with no otherย
All this time we knew
We belong togetherย
