Torn Apart

My life has seen many of things but lately I have been blind
blinded by the tragedies of many of lives
The cruelty of hatred the disgrace of humanity the unjust of crimes
Layer after layer the onion has been peeled and I have and many cry
We ask why should this be in a land known of rights 
but shamed by its crushed tomatoes of justice of no reason
discussed feelings is shame for we are all to blame by not standing up to the government
torn apart in a tossed salad that know wise person would want to eat
for it is no longer good and it is dangerously poison
