A Touch

A touch, it may no seem like much,

But to those who've not had it given in love,

It can seem like something far above,

Their understanding, always demanding.

A touch that aches, a touch that breaks,

A touch that hides their need to take.

It's all so fake.

A touch, it may not seem like much,

But when it's laid down as a gift, It can bind and seal the rift.

A great feeling, of love and healing.

A touch will do, a touch from you, a touch to heal a heart anew.

May I touch you?
