Transcend
I know that just like me
You have dreamt to be free
I know you think we can achieve
Freedom if we just believe
But we have to let it all go
To all ideas we must say no
Reject everything that rises
Goodbye to all our disguises
Be truthful in how we feel
Acknowledge our desire to heal
I didn't mean to make you offended
It wasn't how my message was intended
For a long time in my life I pretended
But what you see now has transcended

Discovering your true self and learning to love that self can be a huge step, but one that we hope brings true happiness and contentment. It can mean letting go of past things. We try to fit in and unless we are being our true selves it doesn’t work. That’s what I felt from reading this wonderful insightful piece. Brilliant ink my lovely poetic friend 💕📌⭐️
