Trojan Heart

Trojan Heart

Capricious tisTrojan heart
Citadel secured to Cupid’s dart
Bound by armored locks
A nemesis doggedly knocks

Pursue not this dark horse
It harbors solely remorse
Spurn yearning refrain
Infernal ardor lulls in vain.

Treacherous fool’s design
Faint a love which is mine
Cast emotions to the sea
Prest by fervent decree

Fortified rod-iron steel
Encased it cannot feel
Breach not fickle part
Damn, this wooden heart
