True Beauty
True beauty, lies in my arms, upon my chest
I swear she outshine's all the rest
She is my baby girl, forever
She is beautiful, and clever
I read her, a special story tonight
The same as my mom used to, to me every night
"Forever, my baby you will be"
Is the verse that echoes, in me
As I read through, page by page
We both, grow in age
As her little sparkling eyes, slowly fall shut
I imagine, just what
Each year will hold
The memories of gold
We have left to create
Resting, in the hands of fate
I cannot wait, do braid her hair
I offer, nothing but love and care
She may, at times drive me wild
But, she is my child
So I vow, to simply cuddle and protect
To emotionally connect
To her heart, with out an end
she is not only my child, but my best friend
I will ALWAYS give the most love, and affection
To my child, I see my own reflection
When I look at her today
Beautiful, in every way
She shines bright
True beauty lies, upon my chest tonight
In my arms, I hold her tonight
Then, place her in her crib to kiss her goodnight
I love you always, and forever my baby you will be
Forever, loved by your mommy
