True Friend

True Friend

A true friend is someone who understands your tears,
Someone who stays by your side for years
A true friend doesn't give you a friendship band,
But walks through your difficulties hand in hand

A true friend sees the pain in your eyes,
Goofing with him time flies
A true friend helps you through your toughest times,
And won't leave you even for a million dimes
A true friend treats you like his own brother,
And cares for you like none other

Your poem demonstrates excellent command of diction and syntax. Just work a bit on imagery and you'll be perfect in no time.

Can you elaborate as to how I need to work on my imagery?
