Trussed

Trussed

“Trussed”
a love letter by, Chuck Prose

Solo wanderlusts

cross stitched in a duet of wondrous lust;

A bright duo trussed together,
    yarns unspooled,
       tête a tête,

Pulling taunt their arms together
    like two bulls weaving cloth.

A pair once come unfurled…
    A rip-roaring heard;
        wrought–

With all but social silence,
     as co-attest:
        replete in copular-

    finality-

For, having knit a counter-melodizing,
     shared
         fabric of reality.
