You hang onto darkness that comes with lust to destroy your soul.

You call the name of hatred and ask to be confronted by pain

Why is it so hard to let go of pain yet easy to hold on to it.

Could it be the sense of feeling something even if it kills you.

It’s time to face the reality of your life

And come face to face with the truth even if you cannot bare to face it.

Is being alone so devastating that we bare crosses which are not ours to bare.

The truth is starring you in the face and yet you look the other way.
