She's blinded by what she thinks is real love 
She's haunted by the few good memories , and by who she wants to believe you are 
A thousand times a day her mind replays the handful of times you laughed and enjoyed being together those being the only ones she wants to remember .
But you can bet that the hundred or so times you threw her against the wall ,  and pushed her down the steps 
now those are the ones her blinded mind and heart is choosing to forget .
You did what all cowards do after they've had to stare consequence in the face .
I'm sorry buddy but if you're looking for sympathy here with me you're in the wrong place 
You seem to have weaseled your way into her taking your calls again 
I'm sure you think it looks like she'll drop the charges , and maybe even take you back ,you win . 
She knows the risk she takes if she believes all your words I know are lies
She may even be willing to sacrifice her life , as you told her you'd kill her and have seriously hurt her too many times .
You may get your chance , if you somehow get out of jail
But one thing I promise is it won't easily go down .
See this is my little sister ,and I will be right back .
From the moment you step out of jail I'll be on your tail .
You won't have the freedom of nobody being able to hear you beating her down 
And just when you think you can because  you don't see me around .
Remember I'm an old pro at being beaten by a man , I know how you think , I know what your next move is before you do 
Life isn't always pretty but you learn from everything you go through .
I won't keep my mouth shut , I won't be far away 
I will be close enough to make sure when you next cross that line 
You'll go right back where you came from and I promise every single time .
Eventually she'll wise up , or maybe she won't 
But next time you decide to break one of her bones 
You'll have to do it in front of me and I bet you , you don't .
