Try to Judge Her

Life is conflicting
Consisting of thoughts
Moving through your mind
Passing you by
If you’re not trying to buy
Like a hooker with a goal and not enough time
We normally dwell
On well
What we sometimes say makes us feel like the world has come to an end
When in actuality, it begins
With a conflicting thought
That use to be our happy place
Now just corruption
That turns your face black and blue
And with a mold of a smile
Held for a while
Until word of mouth
Gets out
And you hear
Who knew?
Optimistically
We try to be
More than what’s given to us
We try to win a card gave with an empty hand
But it was set to fail
Not because of the empty hand but because we tried
Essentially lied
But to ourselves
Creating what some would call self-doubt
Just without one rout
conflicting even
To try is to fail
A goal is set for even what we call beneath us
Then we see this
Pass us by because we’re not trying to buy
And call her a loser
because what she is selling were not buying
when at the end of the night
Feet swollen
Legs hurting
Back aching
she makes her goal
while we’re still trying
