HOT TUB SOUP

Sitting in the hot tub Helen and I watch two kids playing in the pool as others are sun bathing in the hotel chairs.
One group of older folks are wearing long pants, long sleeves and giant straw hats sitting under a table with a canopy. No way sunshine is touching that crew!
As Helen and I are in the Hot Tub, I realize how hot the water is AND - HOW HUNGRY I AM. I am starving!
The car is parked only 25 feet away, in the hotel parking lot, and I remember we have some carrots, celery, onions, corn and a few bouillon cubes in the cooler in the car. I run out, grab them, in addition to two spoons, and the knife and rush back to the hot tub.
Helen cuts up the vegetables and throws them in the tub as we are bombarded by hot tub propulsion jetted water, and I gently drop the bouillon cubes in the water and in ten minutes,
we are eating our vegetable soup as we take in our vitamin D from the sunshine. We dip our spoons in the water capturing different vegetables of our choosing. It is not easy but fun trying to capture the moving vegetables in the bubbling waters.
Another couple was going to join us in the tub, but when they saw the brown broth colored water with stock of corn, carrots, onions and celery floating around, they decided to opt for the pool. I told them they could join us, and I had an extra spoon they were hungry, but they polite fully declined.
The vegetable soup was not bad, but the chlorine overpowered the taste of the vegetables. The next day the hot tub was closed for a professional power washing.
