In Tune

~~I stand to the side waiting for a ballad I can move to.

This broken record of the same song needs to be turned off for good.

Your off-key melodies have become an unpleasant sound to my mind.

Playing my heartstrings so much they have become out of tune

A consistent transition of a resounding heartbeat to a smooth drum beat.

The sway of your body language doing a clumsy dance of indecision.

An all to familiar song and dance routine poorly orchestrated.

So I turn my back to ignore the sight of your two left feet.

But the chorus is still inside my head on repeat.

I make my way out to the dance floor to you.

Take your hands and steady your movement.

Show you all you needed was a partner with grace to perfect your routine.

brilliantly constituted, again adoring heart speaking clearly,

beautiful ending sweetheart, very in tune with your inner emotions, much love nardine xoxo
