TV
I’m invisible
I’m watching someone else's life
Like the screen of a tv
But it’s high def 3D
I scream at her
She makes the wrong choices
And I yell at this tv
Questioning why
She’s not the main character
Not even important to the story
She makes everyone laugh at her own expense
To everyone she’s this happy person
She’s not
She screams to her loneliness
She curls up in her sweats
She cries herself to sleep
In public
She has this mask
She puts so much care
To make sure what's underneath
Is invisible to the world
She spent a long time making this mask
Painting every line
Fixing every crack
And I scream at her
I beg her to take it off
It suffocates and chokes
And as long as there is someone around
She suffers
As so no one could ever know her pain
I am watching someone else’s life
And she doesn’t listen
When I yell and plead
I want to change the channel
Watch anything else but this
This show should be cancelled
But like a bad rerun
It keeps going.

cool write! I think we all wear masks, however the Lord will judge us by the thoughts of our heart, and our choices with love and perfect forgiveness! all the best............................................................Jim
