Poem -
TWENTY TWO MONDAYS TO GO
Twenty two Mondays before Christmas so I'm toldÂ
When the nights will be short and the weather will be coldÂ
Jumpers and gloves will be the order of the day
As winter introduces himself and comes to stay
The dark nights will start at four o'clock
Putting the heating on will come as a shockÂ
The forecasters will provide icy warningsÂ
Beware of the snow in the early morningsÂ
So if this weather today is hot and you start to sighÂ
When it's December time you will long again for July
