Twilight

I
Twilight on grave
Overcast moonless night
Paranormal heart I crave
By warm candlelight
Moisture kist quagmire
Two hearts vapid pound
Yearning eyes afire
True love abound
I take you in my arms
Fetid smell across skin
Perished floral charms
Flesh parched thin
My sweet undead lover
Entombed on barren path
Through tears I discover
I fear not Lamia's wraith
II
O lover how I wept
Lost in dark of night
In your arms swept
Warmed by candlelight
I long for an embrace
Ignite my cadaver heart
Caressing your sweet face
Smitten by loveβs dart
In stasis we embellish folklore
Within shadows of dark
Boundless 'neath mire moor
Where time casts no mark
EntwinedΒ thornsΒ ofΒ rose
Yearning eternal laughter
As one we decompose
Thrivent in here-after

Oh wow this is one seriously beautiful grim narrative of a love that even death cannot divide. I loved the two perspectives. Just stunning as ever and perfectly delivered xΒ
