Awake

Awake

Twilight dusk and all is still
Sounds of calm waters so tranquil
Clouds glistening silvery blue and reds
Sunset sounds fill my head
Seagulls cawing mellow waves
The cool sea breeze from Westbrook bay
Margate lights seen from afar
Dancing shadows flicker as twilight pass

The night begins and stars appear
The Seagulls caws I no longer hear
Foxes glare as mellow waves taint
The sound sea breezes which are so so faint
Dawn approaches and the night sleeps.
