Twinkle in the Sky

I know in the end that you were ready
When you were going, I was missing you already
I feel you in my heart everyday
This will keep my sorrow at bay
One day you were here, The next you were gone
Tomorrow, I know I will still be forlorn.
But as time goes on, I know everything will be fine
Because you always told people my kids are strong and they are mine.
You were such a loving mother And
It will be hard, from your passing to recover
I will never be able to do as much for you as you did for us but you will live on in us, and your beautiful Grandchildren.
You were completely selfless and did everything in your mummy powers to provide for us.
Even finding a way to send me to camp when I didn't want to get on the bus.
Mum, you worked so hard to let us be able to do the things that kids should do
and I'm so very proud of you that in the later years you were able to do things for you.
We were always the twinkle in your eye
And now and forever, you will be our twinkle in the sky
I am who I am today because of your will to survive
And although illness took you too soon, I thank you for being you because you are the reason We are alive
You are and always will be my survivor
You have your wings now, Mummy, so fly high with the birds in the sky
I will remember your smile, and when you called me darling and sweetie pie,
At night time now, I will look at the sky and In my mind it is you I will see with your beautiful face beaming back at me
I miss you so much and I'll see you again
Goodbye
