TWO COUPLES ONE MARRIAGE

Boris and Doris live in a cottage by the sea
Sixty one years married is a long time I'm sure you agree
The romantic candle between them still flickers and glows
Being married that long it would do I suppose

Lorraine and Wayne are going through a divorce 
Three years wed is just the difference of course
Falling out of love in just a very short time 
Is like drinking 7up without adding the lime 

I'm not married so can't say who's right or wrong 
Being married forever or for not very long 
They call marriage an institution I guess that's right 
On the outside looking in I'm sure it's not all sweetness and light
