Two Jobs

Two Jobs

Sleepless hours prolong my day
the sun and moon relinquish their meaning
seconds seem like hours slowly passing away
I'm caught up in a world of sleepless dreaming.
Today is already tomorrow and yesterday a tired thought
If only twenty winks I could borrow, but alas I know i can not.
Two Jobs have become my prison
sentence for life, to make ends meet
hopefully one day I'll make parole
I could sure use a good nights sleep.

I love this. Exactly how I feel at this very moment. A new favorite well done.
