Two Memories, One Mind.

I had a lapse within my mind,
A strange and fickle thought resigned
I felt it on a summer breeze,
Just as the ground began to freeze
The moon, it crawled into the night,
Afraid to linger in the light,
For time had left the romance there,
Beyond the point where lovers dare
Please give me something I can hold,
Outside the cant of hollow gold
A seedĀ to secrets so refined,
That opulence exhumes my mind
I met her on a springtime day,
While terror shooed the gulls away
I left her on a winter's night,
Yet jays they sang with all their might.

Hi Ima,Ā
That's quite beautiful, especially the way the letters curve and form into different shapes, and end at a point on the paper as to where it looks like they're going to fall off the page, but don't. How do you do that?Ā
I'm not sure what it means, but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say 2 yaks, living in a commune, sharing pants, and secrets, until one shaves his(or her) hair too close to their body, and incurs a life threatening cut. Am I right?Ā
Great write.Ā
Matthew.Ā
Hello Matt,
No, you were close, but it's actually about the dark memories of a disconsolate waif, who has lost her love, and her reason, and is reflecting on the terminal sadness of existence...and some yaks.
Thank you for noticing, though.
Now get out of my face.
Hugs,
Ima.

I was going to quote my favourite lines but I just realised I cant because I will be quoting the whole thing!
