Two sides of murder

sitting silently reading my true murder books
reading some crazy stories that would beat halloween
acid baths ,decapitated heads,blood on walls and floors
taking it all in opened some grisly scenes 
too long i sat each night at 9
and read till after 10
forensics teams ,the crimes they have seen
would make blood run cold in men
walking down the street at night
put fear into my soul
my horrible neighbour could be a killer
chop me up ,put me down a hole
the girl in black that talks to herself
could be plotting a murder now
her victim for a cruel drowning
picked out from any crowd
the old man with the dirty grin
could be more than just a drunk
a whiskey bottle in his hand
could whack your head a bloody thump
murders ,crimes ,assaults all the time
got to give up the books ,"too much!"
scared to walk in the dark now
scared of someones touch

but that's a poem about someone else
a friend was a murder fan
i'm the one who practices 
with victims by my hand
take care my mind is evil
my hands are but enough
i read the stories and laugh at them
such interesting give-away stuff
let it be said that in my head
the answers are but none
corrupt i play these stories out
so beware of what iv'e become
no weird looking face
no dirty grin
no crime sheet do i own
i am plain and nice but devious
and sometimes not alone!
