U-Friend

Oh death my lonely Friend

U-Friend

Oh death, my lonely friend.
What have thee, to apprehend ?
To dine with the mimes, or take time off the wise.

Oh death, my lonely friend.
What have thee, to seek ?
To sow and reap, the pleasure of the whole and weak.

Oh death, my lonely friend.
What have thee, to find ?
The sinners of mind, or the saints of pride.

Oh death, my lonely friend.
What have thee, here to call ?
To the fire with one, or in hell be done.

Oh death, my lonely friend.
Seek no more, for all or some.
For all are summon, not one.
