ek qafla mai shamil hu aur jaye jaa raha hu
la maqsad hu fir bhi talash-e-manzil ko ja raha hu

chaman main kuch gull hain woh bhi sukhe hain
bewajha unhe mai tar kiye jaa raha hu

barish mai in kagazo ka ek hi markaz haiĀ 
fir bhi kashtiya mai banaye jaa raha hu

yun hi khaye ja raha hai khayl usk mjheĀ 
kyun uska khayal mai kiye jaa raha hu
