Never was a truer word spoken Greg,  and so eloquently!...I often feel that Mankind is walking with eyes seemingly wide open into an abyss ..Real truth lies within the recognition of subtle subjugation and the means of communicating this knowledge of a creeping plague, through an untainted medium..the written word..Continue to write loudly my friend!! Hello Greg, 

I think you did an amazing job with this poem. I like how you brought, George Orwell, to the forefront of the poem. It was like watching, Enemy of The State, one of my favorite movies. Mainly because Will Smith played a fantastic role, probably one of his best movies. I'll have to check out George Orwell's book in the future. For now, I listed a link to the Cliff Version, for other readers who are like me and have not had the opportunity to read his book yet. 

When the television is on, during the news broad cast, they often only tell about one good story, the rest is about terrorist, Iran, new bombs being tested. I think since our world is now so over full with terrorist, we had to have some type of electronic monitoring systems, the bad seeds of this Earth have put a cinder block on the rest of us. We want more privacy and less conspiracy theories, however what is being safe? The rules of privacy have been thrown under a large bus in the sake of catching criminals, it's our right at humans I believe to feel safe in any area of the world. But that isn't how life is now. 

Thanks Greg, you packed a heaping load of emotion in your poem. Another great write!
