Some times you think about giving up
But then after what will you do
because no matter where you go 
Life's uncertainties are going to follow you

You think it’s hard to get up again
when you  are accustom to falling down
and you accept the way the world looks
you get use seeing it from the ground

You were not born one of the fortunate s 
But still you never lost your way
Because in your heart you know
every under dog must have his day

Some times the pouring rain
Seems to fall without end
And you started thinking
that you will never see the sun again

You have been struggling so long
And all you can do is pray
Because in your heart you know

Some have fancy sports cars
With pretty girls in the front seat
While your old Chevy broke down
In the middle of the busy street

The engine starts over heating
Your radiator has a leak
you have to wait for your paycheck 
to repair at the end of next week

Yeah sometimes it seems
All the bad luck comes your way
But we all know in time to come
every underdog must have his day

There are under dog people 
All around the world
If you put on the TV you will see
parents with sad little boy and girls

Compare to some poor countries
We are like a millionaires
Some don’t have food to eat
Or clothes or shoes to wear

If you know some one
Who is unfortunate today?
Do your best to help them
A little kindness can go a long way

There,re many with conditions worst than us
No matter what problem we face today
we will always have hope in our hearts
cause every under dog must have his day
