Poem -

Unfamiliar Words

I read the words I had written

They seem unfamiliar to me.

For at this moment I realized

what I didn't want people to see.

The words just melted together, gave

me a feeling of sadness and tears.

I wanted to tell of the good times,

not tell all about my fears.

For within my life I've seen good and bad,

But never till now did I know how sad.

No more writing unfamiliar words of

days now long gone past.

Only words of happy times and

how I can get this to last.
