Conflicted Dreams

Conflicted Dreams
  • That place, once filled with dreams is populated by nightmares
  • Monsters filling my head with whispers
  • Taunting my dreams with thoughts of the future.
  • My love, who am I to know when I will see you again?
  • Although it has been almost four years
  • Your face still lingers in my thoughts
  • Such bittersweet memories from those sun filled days
  • Both gladdening and thought provoking
  •  Although you are not of this world any more
  • As every year passes the pain fades a little more
  • But the loss will haunt me forever more.
