Unforgettable- Part I- Nico

Oh my precious Angel Nico, almost three years since you went away;
I’ve tried so hard to heal, but I miss you more each day!
This photo that I have of you, brings such pain to my broken heart;
Your eyes that look right through me, incite my pain to start!

I remember the day I met you, you came running to my side;
And gave me puppy kisses, and tears of joy I cried!
We bonded in that moment, the marriage of our Souls;
You brought my heart such happiness, and it, you ever stole!

We were Soulmates so inseparable, we shared each other’s love;
At night you slept so close to me, sent from Heaven’s up above!
We taught each other so much, I learned the Buddhist way;
While you became articulate, accruing new words every day!

As you approached your second birthday, one year and nine months old;
We got you a baby brother, when Cody to us was sold!
Like with me, your love was instant, your Souls would never part;
Now you’re gone, and eternal fall, the tears within my heart!
