Brilliant use of words.

Brilliantly executed, captured my heart from the very beginning. Loved it !

I initially thought this was monorhyme, Lisa, until I reached the second stanza.
The aabb rhyme scheme you have used here lends such a bouncy, upbeat rhythm to an otherwise moribund poem on mankind's poor, inhumane treatment of this Big Blue Marble called Earth that we all share and call our home.
