Unspoken

Unspoken

I had so much to say,
but it didn't take an evil Ursula to steal my voice away,
Unlike Ariel I lost my voice in fear,
it vanishes like mist whenever you come near.
The sound would hit the tip of my tongue,
but never shot like an unloaded gun.
Made me feel lifeless, no more
like all that's left is a emptied core.
I wasn't even I,
and with you I never could be.
For to close a door on a voice,
it leaves the mind no choice,
For I had a voice but you wouldn't hear,
I had words to say, but silence that unspoken tear.
It's all you heard when you came near,
a tear drop, falling from it's fear.
