UNSPOKEN WORDS

UNSPOKEN WORDS

I saw the sorrow in your heart
A depth of sadness in your eyes
I felt your pain of loneliness
Heard the silence of your cries
I wasn't looking at your smile
When you told me, you were fine
Though you tried to hide your sadness
I couldn't help, but see the sign
I know that kind of hidden pain
That lies just behind the eyes
I see the walls that you have built
I see past your disguise
I'll sit quietly beside you
Sit with the feelings, stirred
My heart will listen to your heart
And hear each unspoken word

I really liked this, a smile can mask so much pain....to see beyond it is a gift
Very much enjoyed
