Poem -

Until We Meet Again

Until We Meet Again

The stars will form a horoscope of notes and brighten up the world

The sky will be blue on a sunny day, and dark and cloudy on a rainy day

Flowers will bloom in the spring, and the pussy willow will soften every bouquet

The iris will boarder the garden but won't keep the rabbits out, they will play

The crickets will chirp in the night, and the owl will hoot in the moonlight

Cherry blossoms will fill the trees, the meadows will be filled with daisies in the breeze

The night will be calling your name, as the porch swing will sway, empty, so empty

I will pick each petal from the flower, one by one, I will say, he loves me, he loves me not

Remember I love you, do you love me, forget me not, or I will simply go away

My heart holds dear all the beauty around me and your name is carved on the old oak tree

I wear the locket with your picture inside, as the wind kisses with bliss upon my cheek

I think of you and reminisce of the days long ago, when we were first in love, you're in a picture frame

In my mind, in my heart, I won't let go, until we meet again
